Not long ago
I spent the night in my friends house in Jerusalem.
They are a remarkable couple from South Korea.

In the morning
they proposed we should take a rest close to
Jerusalem nearby a wonderful spring. Unexpectedly
for me we got on the frontier post of the Palestinian
autonomy. My question : "Are we going there?"
, the family of Kim burst into laughter confirming
my anxiety. In a moment the level of adrenalin
in my body went above the mark. South Korean
passports and faces, appropriated them, lending
amazing credibility to the frontier guards.
I tried to comfort myself that I forgot my Israeli
passport in my car and tried to make my face
more Asian expression.

A successful
attempted smile on that side of the security fence.
The Homeland was left behind.

By this road we
came to the spring, and our way came through impressive
places.

At last we've got
the spring!

In the spring the
local residents were found resting.

In the rocks
we also found an antique construction. It turned
out that the St. Khariton monastry at one time
belonged to the Russian foreign Orthodox Church.
The first buildings are related to the beginning
of the IV century.

We were friendly
accepted by a monk who's name is also Khariton.

He told us a
lot of interesting stories about the early Church
that was connected to this place, and he showed
us all of the territory at the monastery.

That part of the
monastery is graven in the rock.

We came back
home filled by the impressions we saw, and were
looking forward to a "korean lunch",
but that is a separate story all together.
